I want all of it!
I will earn all of it!
I like the fact that they are round. Those are the identity tags that the British and Commonwealth used (and later the Americans) during the war and became quite iconic in the UK’s memory of the conflict. They used to note name, regiment, registration and even religious denomination to ensure they got the proper burial.
It’s a pity they stuck with the American ranks though. I’d have hoped they would try something different for WW1, like British, French or German ranks.
Interesting, I never really gave the shape of the medals a second thought.
Just wanted to upload this image, in case someone wants to show off all the dog tags in one place.
@Vicbou nice find man!
Cheers. I actually put it together on my iPad last night, individually dragging every dog tag onto the background. That’s why you might find it to be slightly asymmetrical, hehe.
You did that on an iPad? Man - you are a braver man than me!
Are those all the dog tags?
No, I am pretty sure that sme are missing, but it is a good start!
I’m pretty sure there are at least 160 dog tags. I think around 80 front and 80 back.
Looking at the datamine, it seems there are 81 front side and 56 back side dog tags, give or take a few.
I count 82 front (including blank) and 83 back (including blank).
Thats from the files I got.
what do you mean by front and back?
It’s like left and right in battlefield 4
Yeah, as Sawtooth put it. The front side is like the right dog tags in Battlefield 3, and back side is like the simpler left dog tags. When you melee someone, the dog tag appears with front side first and then turns to the backside.
Also, seems I was a bit off with the numbers. I guess we’ll find out when the game is released. Not sure how accurate that chart is though, seems as someone guessed which ones were for the front and which ones for the back.
I made the charts myself from a data file a grabbed off the internet.
Front and back were clearly separated.
Aye, but for instance I don’t think the dog tags with the horse or the monkey/banana are backside dog tags. Other than that the chart looks very nice.
