Battlefield 6 (what we want what we don't want)

what do we as a community want from bf6 ???
do we want bf1 style with bf1 gameplay or maybe bf4 or even bfbc with more recent gameplay mechanics and movement.
me personally i would like to see a more updated version of bf4 with updated movment and setting options with the visuals from bf1 as they were super nice .

let me know your thoughts

I am gonna go out on a limb here, and say that I would love to see another Battlfield 4 style game. For now, let’s call it Battlefield 4.2.

Modern mechanics, modern maps, modern guns. Nothing futuristic like in 2142, and nothing historic either, as I think we have done that to death at this point.

That being said, I would not be too upset if BAttlefield 6 turned out to be another 1942 updated with modern graphics, and some new maps. WHo doesnt want to go back to wake island with ray tracing technology.

I know there are a ton of fanbois out there who love the Bad Company series for some reason, but for me it is too vanilla. Almost like - dare I say it - Call of Duty.

Now as for my opinion. I agree 2ith @Timelord modern (without futuristic) would be what I would love to see.

Yeah, the world war stuff is old, but a wicked remake and a new twist on the theaters would not be unwelcome. Pacific theater?

When you say modern, do you mean current day, or slightly in the future.

What do you think about something in the 60’s? Cold war era? Or even something in the 80’s?

i mean if i’m honest its more the guns i want more modern guns like m4’s think bf4’s weaponry updated of course then set it in like the 2035-2040 era i’d rather they went forward rather than back technology has evolved so we could now have drones ect so theoretically going back limits what you can put into the game,but i’d also say not to futuristic like wall running space suits titanfall type stuff for me is a nope no thanks

At this point, I would take anything without horses, or tanks that are massively over powered. Like the rest of you, I think going ‘back’ to a more modern time is starting to make more and more sense.

I was thinking about this and thought what about a campaign that covers multiple conflicts between the end of Vietnam and ISIS. Have some Nam, Cold War, Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria. Multiplayer can feature maps and weapons from the last 40 years

I like the concept, but to me it would feel like a disjointed game? How would you handle different types of weapons across multiple conflicts?

Or would it strictly be based on the map?
