no thompson? with all the digging you guys did and no thompson? it was only a few weeks late to the party man. never got battle tested but the first combat ready model was in 1918

Basically, it was a heavy armor piercing rifle, it can do a lot of damage to tanks, in world war 2, they used something like this

Keep your Colt 1911, real men use the Model 1879 Reichsrevolver. Eject and reload every bullet individually with a ramming rod. German officers preferred their swords more than this thing when it came to long range combat.
