I miss being able to take down smoking aircraft with a pistol, and of course annoying the teammate that did all the real work trying to take them down, a la BF2.

Then watch them rage quit right out of the game!

Rifles and pistols do damage to planes in BF1 I believe, might be possible to destroy it with a pistol

I can only assume that it would be very little damage, so in order to actually take it down, you would need to hit a plane that has pretty low health

Yes true @Timelord_ think it will be the same as shooting a heli in BFH
