Anyone else get an invite?
There are some serious NDA’s in place, so it may be hard to get screenshots or videos… If you do manage to get some videos, upload them to the media section so they do not get pulled down from YT

I’m in as well. It took some time before the download actually started and it was 0:30 in the morning when I finally got a chance to start it up. It looks really awesome, even on my crappy PC. You’ll love it for sure.
It kinda pisses me off that a lot of so called ‘community members’ are calling out DICE/EA for handing out Closed Alpha keys to ‘randoms’. I’ve been a Battlefield player for years, I have 2300+ hours in BF4 alone, played many of the Battlefield games and I consider myself a die hard fan.
I have been in contact with Community Managers for several months about contributing to the community and the game in my own way, as have been many other Die Hard fans and veterans I know. DICE/EA are really working towards getting more and more of the dedicated community members involved in the game.
My point is, you don’t have to be a YouTuber/Streamer or otherwise content creator to contribute to the Community. Closed Alpha is all about TESTING. Who are best suited to give good feedback about the game and the mechanics? Right, Veterans and Die Hard fans.
Sorry for the rant, but this really pissed me off and I find it insulting and disrespectful towards the dedicated community members who operate in the background and don’t expose themselves 24/7.

Yes true mate, I guess people like to judge, we all do actually, we are only human after all, would of been nice to join the closed alpha but then again it’s better to give a key to someone who deserves it more, I have been around since BF4 (back in 2013) so I can’t say I am a veteran of the Battlefield series, although I worked backwards, bought BF4, BF3, BFH and BF BC2, lol. Many years ago I played BF 1942 but it was not much
Don’t worry about the complaining not receiving a closed alpha key, let them complain because that’s all they can really do, maybe some raging and name calling (the really bad once) but that’s about all they can do
Please do share your experience with the closed alpha game play, it would add more to the hype and excitement for the game
Yes, I had the same error. I restarted the game and set it to DX12 in the video options (I think…)

Unfortunately I can’t say much about the game it self since that information is under NDA. But I can tell you it looks amazing. You have to play it yourself to really appreciate it. I saw a lot of gameplay videos and wasn’t that excited about it. But when you’re at the controls things look very different. Textures are very detailed and blend very well, high degree of realism. The map (St. Quentin Scar) is huge especially since the game is infantry focussed. The weather system is very interesting since it has a high impact on which strategies work better than others.
I think that’s all I can share at the moment. If you have specific questions just let me know and I’ll try to answer them within the confines of the NDA.
Is impossible to start the game
With me it only happened once. Then I restarted the game and it was fine. Don’t know what else you can do. Maybe go to the official Battlefield Forum and ask your question in the Closed Alpha section?
what hardware are tyou rocking? Would be interested to know how it compares to my PC. Wonder if an upgrade is in my near future.

I just realized that disclosing my PC setup, the game settings and how it runs might be in violation of the NDA. So I removed that information. So is discussing how to get it to run…probably. That’s why discussing these things is only allowed on the official forum.
