50 storeys of mayhem

Appreciated, thank you

I too think your work looks fantastic!

sadly on sunday evening i got back from the pub with some friends and discovered my front door ajar, while i was out my house had been broken into and several electrical items had been taken, one of which was my computer and my ps4, so i will be going quiet for a while until i can get stuff sorted out,

Mate that is just shit! You’re insured I hope? Feels for you man.

There are actually 2 x Quad bikes aren’t there? Outside on the snowy pass … or maybe commanders dropped them. Vehicles on Locker is possible though.

As for this map discussion, now following with interest. I’d like to start getting to grips with Blender (done a few basic tuts) and game engines. It’s coming along though @mack7963
You could have vehicles. Litter a few hoverboards or segways around the floors, haha.

on locker there are no vehicles of any sort, trust me the amount of times ive been on that map and wished there was even a skateboard to get away from those squads who seem to flow like water round every corner.
as far as the map goes, and thank you skank, appreciate your sentiments, and no i wasnt insured, thought my landlord was tho itll probably take a week to get something that can handle rhino and let me model it, pay a visit to my friendly Cash converters see what i can pick up.

just on a side thought, have a think about contributing to this project, blender is a fine program to learn, not sure about industry standards, but it has been known to be used in the production pipeline of major studios, and it has a game engine built in as well as a physics engine and particle system, if im not wrong there have been a couple of short movies of note produced enttirely with blender and a game, it also has a full blown video editing suite in there too, i never took to it personally, just couldnt get used to the interface, but i would advise anyone to dive in and see what they can produce.

this is the third movie from the blender foundation.
http://blenderartists.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?39-Finished-Games this is a list of games done using the blender game engine.
http://libregraphicsworld.org/blog/entry/10-best-commercials-made-with-blender-in-2013 and these are commercials made with blender and blender as part of the production.
impressive for a completely free program, by anyones standards, but always remember, it depends on your machine and your skill set, watch the examples but dont what ever you do be put off by anything you see, all the artists working on those things also started at the beginning plus you have a massive community that will help and guide you from beginner to …well, guide.

Sorry to hear that man…

I hope you had insurance and that your data was backed up.
