50 storeys of mayhem

Locker is an official map, but if I remember correctly there are no vehicles on that anyway right?

CS:GO is huge, but I havent played it in years as I suck REALLY bad,

There was also an office map on CS.

Nice work so far! I am really enjoying hearing about your progress

dont know have never played counter strike.

Sorry - was kinda thinking out loud.

This is the one I was thinking of.

so here is the Skywalk connecting bridge, which i literally just finished, it will be 60m in length, the windows will allow snipers to pick off troops from above, below and from both sides, but there is enough cover for players to cross, however, because i want the map to force a more team oriented game play, to successfully stop players reaching the other side, snipers will have to work in pairs, also the glass will present an obstacle so that the first shot wont be the kill shot, any suggestions on the design will always be welcome, the central walkway still needs things like rails either side, possibly with metal plates running along the length of it to provide extra protection.

looks good

would there be more than 1 walkway?

im tempted to go with just one, that would intensify the battles at that point of crossing, i was thinking of having a single roof section to allow two points of connection between the two buildings, but what do you think?, more than one walkway or not?.

i think 2 because with 2 if there is more fighting at 1 of the walkways one team can push through the second and flank around and capture the other walkway suprising the enemy.

good point, then the answer to your initial question is two walkways

usmaan99, question, would you have the skywalks on two different levels and central, so one above the other, or on the same level ?

i guess having it on another level would add a chance to parachut onto the other skywalk and shoot through the ceiling if it has a glass roof. so yh it could be better to have it on another level

a bit like scrapmetal in bf3. you could get on top of the walkways and shoot from the top.

dont think i ever played scrap metal, but i didnt have the other maps in BF3, something else that came to mind about having two walkways was that because the space between the buildings will be 60m it would be enough room to get a chopper in there, having two walkways will test the pilots skill, flying inbetween the walkways or under the bottom one.

That loooks pretty cool. Some Claymores on each entrance and you have a snipers eaven

Or how about an identical walkway across the map, so the snipers can face off with one another

keep making the suggestions, as all this will be presented to dice when its done, in reference to the walkways you mean have them on the same level, love that idea

has anymore progress been made?

Paging @mack7963 We are looking for some updates! lol.
