What is passive spotting? Not familiar with that termOnly thing I know changed is that passive spotting is completely gone, which is nice.
That flare gun thing sounds awesome. First time I have heard of it.I’ve heard some stuff about spotting.
- First of all, the mini-map no longer shows you which direction people are facing. It just shows a dot on the map.
- Secondly, the ‘Q’ to spot system is still in place, but I think spotted infantry show up for a shorter amount of time than tanks and aircraft.
- Finally, the Recon class gets a cool replacement to the UAV. He gets a flare gun which spots enemies in its vicinity. The higher the flare, the wider the spotting radius, though it doesn’t travel very far.
Passive spotting means that someone will show up on the minimap without having to press q, you simply have to look in their general direction. Basically it took someone to do a 360 when you are trying to flank and you’ll be on the map for a few seconds. What is passive spotting? Not familiar with that term
Things you learn. Only spotting I knew about was the “q”Passive spotting means that someone will show up on the minimap without having to press q, you simply have to look in their general direction. You can also have an ‘auto-spotting’ accessory for some weapons in BF4:Things you learn. Only spotting I knew about was the “q”
How do I not know about 1/2 the stuff available in Battlefield 4You can also have an ‘auto-spotting’ accessory for some weapons in BF4:
The Target Detector “A PROTOTYPE DEVICE CREATED USING PARTS FROM THE MTN-55 AND T-UGS. WHILE ACTIVE IT WILL DETECT ENEMY MOVEMENT WITHIN A NARROW CONE IN FRONT OF YOU AND REPORT IT TO YOUR TEAM’S MINIMAP.”
I use it on my RFB. I doubt this will be in BF1 though, but it’s okay, we’ll have “Pigeon Spotters”!
