Sometime in mid october, Verdun comes to Xbox and Playstation on August 30th, and hopefully EA is a good enough sport to let the little guy breathe, before crushing it in sales.
But for real, i think late september or mid october. Verdun and BF 1 need to talk to each other, they’re are the only WW 1 shooters to my knowledge that are successful (its battlefield of course it will be a success.) And if BF 1 wants to stay out of the trenches then Verdun can fill that void, i can see a great Symbiotic relationship. like a shark and the little fish that follows it around. The shark could easily eat the little fish, but the little fish helps the shark stay clean. Verdun and BF 1 could be great to play at the same time.
I think Verdun’s focus lies on a completely different experience and to be honest, it’s a niche game. DICE/EA can rely on a huge playerbase just because they established the Battlefield franchise. I don’t think they will clash but rather complement eachother.
I highly doubt they would leave out one of the most devastating and most popular thing about the entirety of World War 1.
The campaign will sure to have missions based in Trenches.
No way. EA is a goliath with a responsibility to their shareholders. Less competition the better.
Mid October is way too late? The game comes out on the 18th or 21st depending on what version you ordered.
Gotta agree there, EA would NEVER do a beta month of launch, and late september is a bit of a stretch.
I would be willing to bet money on it. They kinda sorta showed it in the reveal trailer when the tank comes over the top of what looked like trenches.
Very late August, or early september. Give them enough time to scrape together a patch. Then onto beta testing part two (release)

August 31st? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a beta start at the end of a month.
