I remain hopeful that we will see it one day. The story is not finished and it is a great story. But like I said, it hard to learn something from an accidental success. Battlefield’s success skyrocketed with BC2 and BF3 took it to a whole new level. Now we’re here drooling for the video reveal. Should be fun! Fingers crossed!

I am actually going through the process of playing Bad Company 2 as we wait for Battlefield 5/ I have to say, it is one of the better games to be made. Ever.

Yeah - if they had admitted they do not understand why it was a success, they are going to be hard pressed to duplicate that experience. Although. I have to say that Battlefield 4 was pretty good once we got the bugs worked out.

i think it’s going to be 2143 if that is true, we might see a Bad company 3 after,
bad company came after 2142 but i rather want 1944 after 2143, A timeline reset would be nice

I heard some YouTuber said that we almost did not get BF1, EA wanted a future shooter and when DICE showed EA the custom art for BF1, they got the go ahead for BF1 instead of a future shooter

Yeah - I heard the same thing myself, and the guy that was onstage before the Battlefield 1 reveal also admitted that he was not convinced that WWI was a good setting for a game. Let’s hope he is wrong.
